Dear Parents, welcome to the first edition of our AI Education & Ethics Newsletter. Over the next 10 editions, we’ll explore how AI is shaping our children’s learning and daily lives—and how we, as families, can guide them responsibly.
What is AI?
Simple definition & everyday examples
Artificial Intelligence is when computers or machines learn patterns and assist with tasks that usually need human thinking. Children encounter AI daily—when YouTube recommends videos, Siri answers a question, or Maps guides a route.
Family conversation starters
- Where did you see technology being “smart” today?
- How do we know if an online answer is trustworthy?
- What is a kind way to use AI at home and school?
ChatGPT (for Education)
Use ChatGPT together with your child to brainstorm ideas, practice writing, or ask guided “why” questions. Keep it collaborative: sit together, review answers, and discuss what’s useful.
💡 Parent Tip: Write a bedtime story about a child in Abu Dhabi who plants a tree with his father to learn the value of giving.

ما هو الذكاء الاصطناعي؟

استخدموا ChatGPT مع أطفالكم للعصف الذهني، وممارسة الكتابة، وطرح أسئلة «لماذا» الموجّهة. اجعلوا الاستخدام تعاونياً: اجلسوا معاً، راجعوا الإجابات، وناقشوا ما هو مفيد.
